Foundation Piling, a leader in ground engineering solutions, recently completed the ground improvement works at Guildford Sewage Treatment Works (STW).

Our scope included the design and installation of over 7,400 rigid inclusions to support all roads and pipework across the scheme. The project involved working within landfill waste at depths ranging from 5 to 11 metres, using a 275mm VRI displacement auger.

With the use of two rigs, the works were delivered efficiently within just a few months. Our in-house team also produced over 50 separate Plaxis 3D models, helping to keep the project under budget — a testament to our commitment to cost-effective, high-quality delivery.
