Foundation Piling has recently completed the piling works for a new 24-storey student accommodation tower located adjacent to the Elephant & Castle railway line.

The project involved the installation of 84 CFA piles, each 600mm in diameter and drilled to depths of up to 35 metres into the London Clay, forming the foundation system for the high-rise structure.

Using our Llamada P240 rig, capable of drilling CFA piles to depths of up to 42 metres, we were able to optimise the pile design by utilising smaller diameters while achieving the required depth and load capacity.

Through the expertise of our in-house team and careful project coordination, the works were delivered on schedule and to the client’s satisfaction.
