New Soilmec SR45 Rig

Foundation piling received a present over Christmas, in the form of another new piling rig. A new Soilmec SR45 with both CFA and Rotary capability.

In rotary mode it has a Kelly bar suitable to install cost effective, sustainable piles down to 450mm diameter, and in CFA mode up to 1000mm diameter down to 22.5m. This new rig has a Tier 5 engine, increasing our stock of rigs with the more environmentally friendly Tier 5 engines.
