The works formed a vital part of the construction of a new pedestrian bridge spanning the existing railway line, supporting the development of 380 new homes in the area.

This project presented a unique challenge due to the confined working space. Our team skilfully positioned a 40-tonne piling rig within a narrow gap between two occupied residential houses. Despite the restricted access, we successfully installed 450mm diameter piles to depths of up to 15 metres, requiring exceptional precision, careful planning, and execution to ensure the safety of surrounding properties.

Once installation was complete, the rig was expertly manoeuvred back out of the site — a testament to our team’s experience, adaptability, and commitment to safety.
